What is Divorce Coaching?

Divorce Coaching is a powerful partnership which focuses on the client taking action toward the recovery and moving on after a divorce.  Divorce Coaches are in demand by anyone who has had a divorce whether they are just thinking about divorce or have been divorced for months, years or decades.  Divorced people are using coaches to help them through the mourning and recovery process, to bring out their best, help them create the rest of their lives for themselves and their families.

Coaching is a well structured series of conversations involving a method of inquiring and questioning that assists another person to think more clearly, gain better perspective and focus more effectively on their current situations and the things ahead of them.  It is not about dwelling in the past, but moving ahead to the future.  It provides the tools to enhance the process of divorce recovery and offers the client a new perspective and accountability for their actions in creating their new lives after divorce.

Coaching usually happens with over-the-phone sessions, although they may also be done in person. Professional coaches are trained to listen and observe, to customize their approach to the individual client's needs, and to elicit solutions and strategies from the client. The coach is an experienced guide that has been through the same process in the past.  The Divorce Coach provides feedback and an objective perspective while the client is responsible for taking the steps to produce the results he or she wants.

Benefits of Divorce Coaching:

  • You will better understand the divorce recovery steps
  • You will have a clear picture of where you are now, where you want to go and why, and what you need to make it happen
  • You will develop self-confidence and self-trust
  • You will have more control over the speed and direction of your growth
  • You will be stronger
  • You will become more successful in creating the plan for your life after divorce

What is Divorce Group Coaching?

Divorce Group Coaching consists of two sixty minute group telephone sessions a month. These groups of four to eight people other men or women who want to rebuild their lives after a divorce or a relationship ends. These groups will allow for group teaching and support, coaching from a coach within that group and a support network of others who are going through some of the same rebuilding processes.
